Alexandra Solomon

Alexandra’s journey is deeply rooted in her passion for movement and her conviction that education is fundamental for a life of health and harmony at any age. Her guiding principle is Yoga, embodying the essence of non-duality, inclusiveness, and kindness, which shines through her work and interests, shaping her teaching approach. Her profound understanding of the body-mind connection was initially cultivated through competitive gymnastics during her childhood and adolescence, further enriched by her academic pursuits in Physical Therapy, massage, Thai traditional bodywork, meditation, yoga philosophy, trauma-informed practices, and nutrition. Alexandra is currently expanding her exploration of the Self through the Feldenkrais Method, a journey that thrillingly bridges the educational landscapes of Yoga and Feldenkrais.

Since 2007, Alexandra has dedicated herself to Yoga, specifically within the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition, accumulating 17 years of practice and teaching experience. Her yoga journey has taken her around the world, including to Mysore, where she engaged with the teachings at KPJAYI. Among the numerous instructors she has encountered, she holds Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor in the highest esteem. Originally from a quaint town in Transylvania, Romania, Alexandra has called several places home, including Bucharest, Lisbon, Berlin, and now, Brussels, where she has established her new base.
