Betzabel Falfan
Betzabel Falfan, co-founder of the Forest Lighthouse Center, hails from Mexico. She leads weekly Awareness Through Movement classes and offers individual Functional Integration sessions. Trained as an actress and dancer, she dedicated her academic research to the study of classical Indian dance, specializing particularly in the Indian classical dance form ‘Sattriya’ from 2010 to 2013. Her diverse and extensive training includes drama studies at Cours Florent and the Municipal Conservatory Gustave Charpentier in Paris. She furthered her research and practice in Bharatanatyam and Sattriya dance in India, supported by grants from ‘Paris jeunes talents’ and ICCR.
Certified in the Feldenkrais Method® between 2016 and 2020 at Cantal 1, France, Betzabel has been a key figure in organizing and guiding students in Feldenkrais professional training programs in Belgium since 2019. She also trained as a Heartfulness meditation trainer and in the Brighter Minds program for children. At Forest Lighthouse, Betzabel teaches with a unique approach, combining her dance skills and her passion for the anthropology of dance through the Feldenkrais Method. Committed to providing her students with a rich and nurturing learning experience, her teaching aims to enhance body awareness, mobility, self-confidence, and sensory perception.
