What is We breathe, we dance, we embrace. ?
We are Chen-Wei Lee and Vakulya Zoltan, together we form a dance company and artist duo called LEE\VAKULYA.
Our focus has always been movement and creating dance pieces, however, we have been active in education and have been creating works for galleries and museums as well.
Since 2022, we started to work on a theme that is important to us, not only as an inspiration but also as a collective and individual problem we try to take care of.
Have you ever felt the pressure of the sky, like a ceiling that is lowering on you, making you smaller and smaller?
Or, no matter how hard you think or try to plan, the sense of perspective is just absent?
The feeling that it’s countless on how many ways you try to stay active, steady and achieving, while you get less and less energy back from what you do.
We did too. Many friends and family of ours did. It is often called a Burn-out.
We have been slowly building a series of tasks which we would like to share with you if you feel the above mentioned are true to you.
Throughout two days, 4 hours each, we invite you to share time together by the guidance of us.
We will breathe together, dance alone and as a group, share sensations through touch, and experience a bit more how to be there for another, ergo when we are alone, we know a bit better how to be there for ourselves.
This workshop is not a technique. It represents a collection of experiences, exercises and research studies we have been doing in the last few years to tackle the symptoms of burn-out, lower the chance of anxiety, and ease the pressure on our shoulders.
We are looking forward to sharing time with you and having this moment to take care of our body and mind together.

General
Forest Lighthouse is a somatic education center, a discipline that regards the body as a tool for expression, a vehicle for experience, and a means of learning. The center specializes in organizing courses, workshops, and training programs with curricula designed to cultivate a deep understanding of the unity of body and mind.
We offer a wide range of somatic courses and training programs, tailored to various needs and interests. Our events aim to create a bridge between the arts and sciences, from dance to neuroscience.
Just as we seek to highlight well-established disciplines, we also strive to introduce pioneering approaches in the field of somatics.
