Feldenkrais Education’s 4-year training program, set in the serene haven of Cantal, in the ‘pays des volcans,’ trains you in teaching Awareness Through Movement® group lessons and hands-on Functional Integration® individual sessions as a certified practitioner, unlocking new possibilities for yourself and others.”

In our sister centre in the mountains in Cantal France, Feldenkrais Education offers a 4-year professional training course to become a certified Feldenkrais Method practitioner. This training will enable you not only to teach the method, but also to profoundly change the quality of your life. You’ll discover an unexplored part of your human potential.

The Centre Feldenkrais Cantal offers such a space in the midst of nature. Live in the moment, breathe deeply and take this journey to redefine yourself and your abilities.

At the Centre Feldenkrais Cantal in France, the Feldenkrais Method is practiced daily. Practitioners give group classes in Awareness Through Movement and offer individual sessions in Functional Integration. Workshops for the general public are regularly organized. The effervescence generated by this daily on-site practice naturally feeds the training program.

Scott Clark

Originally from New Mexico, Scott trained as a dancer after taking a BSc in mathematics. During an extensive career as a performer and dance teacher, he investigated many of the physical disciplines used by dancers to augment their training. This led him to the work of Moshe Feldenkrais, which he began studying in 1982, and he enrolled in the first London Feldenkrais Professional Training Programme, from which he graduated in 1990. Alan Questel

Alan is known for his clarity, creativity and innovative teaching style, which brings depth of understanding, humor and a human perspective to learning the Method. Trained by Moshe Feldenkrais (Amherst 1983), Alan has lectured and taught in hospitals, colleges, and more than 40 Feldenkrais® professional training programs around the world. An actor before becoming interested in the Feldenkrais Method®, Alan has worked and toured with Jerzy Grotowski and Paul Sills. Yvo Mentens

Yvo Mentens

Yvo, originally from Belgium, is a certified Feldenkrais practitioner. He graduated from Myriam Pfeffer’s training in Paris in 2009. Since 2016 he works as an assistant trainer. He teaches at the Conservatoire National d’Art Dramatique de Paris CNSAD, where, in addition to theater, he has set up an important program of Feldenkrais classes with PCM and IF for students. Pia Appelquist

Pia Appelquist has been a certified Feldenkrais practitioner since 2010, and a certified assistant trainer since 2019. She is of Danish nationality but has lived and worked in France since 1990.
