Want to know more ?
During the practice of movement research we'll use several tasks and structures with the aim of gathering our dance into a social and performing aspect. Improvisation will be the base of our practice. The negotiation between the technical and emotional body -playfulness- will be the main objective inside movement research class. This practice may lead us to a composition/choreographic research, but also to get to know the others through dancing.
This practice is open to everybody, professional and amateurs.
From solo’s to group community-exercises we will find strategies to encourage our movement qualities and movement situations. We will develop strength, coordination and perception.
The class focuses on movement research through improvisation, emphasizing the blend of technical and emotional expression with playfulness. It aims to explore both social and performance aspects of dance, leading to potential choreographic work and building connections among participants.

General
Forest Lighthouse is a somatic education center, a discipline that regards the body as a tool for expression, a vehicle for experience, and a means of learning. The center specializes in organizing courses, workshops, and training programs with curricula designed to cultivate a deep understanding of the unity of body and mind.
We offer a wide range of somatic courses and training programs, tailored to various needs and interests. Our events aim to create a bridge between the arts and sciences, from dance to neuroscience.
Just as we seek to highlight well-established disciplines, we also strive to introduce pioneering approaches in the field of somatics.
The program is generally open to everyone. Except for events with prerequisites or required prior experience, the center offers activities aimed at anyone interested in learning.
