Urtė Groblytė
Urtė Groblytė (b.1999, Lithuania) is a maker and performer in the fields of dance, theatre, and choreography. She started her dance education with classical ballet in Lithuania, studied modern dance for a year in Folkwang University of Arts in Germany, and continued with contemporary dance training at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels, where she also obtained her MA degree in choreography.
Bodie studies: yoga, pilates, somatic practices, anatomy, etc., were part of Urtė’s education for more than 6 years now, and it continues to be part of her interests and practice. Taking pilates as a base for her classes and training, she likes to mix different approaches that come from this variety of experiences and knowledge she has.
Next to her training, Urtė continues making her own performative work and collaborations with other artists.
