Nagual Residency
Join us for this artistic research laying the foundation for a future creation. We are looking for performers with experience in dance, singing and theatre.
Residency
In Mesoamerican beliefs, when a human being is born, an ally is born in the same instant. This ally can take the shape of a fish, a bird, an animal, a plant or a rock. He is the being who accompanies you, all your life, on the other side of the mountain. This is an actors and dancers residency aimed at calling the Nagual.
Participation
For this open call we are looking for artists who can join us in exploring the Mesoamerican Metaphor of the Nagual. The residency implies participating in the daily chores and being actively contributing to the work process.
Is included : Daily meals, access to the entire facility and transports from and to the centre.
Program
+ Daily Training in dance, singing & theatre
+ Feldenkrais, Improvisation, Voice work, Rythm & Movement
+ Reflection on working structure
+ Shared meals, creative research & coffee times
