Nikos Appelqvist

As a Feldenkrais practitioner and co-founder of the Forest Lighthouse Center in Brussels, he has been certified in the Feldenkrais Method® since 2020, following his training in Cantal 1, France. His involvement extends beyond co-founding the center; he also co-organizes professional Feldenkrais training programs in Brussels, actively participating in the establishment of the Brussels 1, 2, and 3 training series while guiding students throughout their four-year journey. His linguistic proficiency has allowed him to translate these programs, providing an opportunity to enrich his experience alongside internationally renowned trainers. Passionate about neuroscience and somatic learning, his commitment to teaching is unwavering. He offers weekly classes and individual Functional Integration sessions, assisting clients in exploring and improving their bodily movement, thus contributing to a positive self-image. His contribution as a translator also includes the adaptation into French of the best-selling book ‘A Busy Person’s Guide to the Feldenkrais Method,’ making this method more accessible to the broader Francophone audience. He is deeply committed to creating opportunities for individuals to realize their potential. Through the Feldenkrais Method and Dr. Schubiner’s pain unlearning therapy, he strives to help his clients lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
