What is Musculoskeletal rehabilitation & Neurorehabilitation ?
Filip Descheemaeker and Tina Van Eeckhoven, both alumni of Feldenkrais Education and practicing physiotherapists, will share insights into how Feldenkrais strategies can be effectively applied in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. Their expertise as teachers and clinicians will provide a practical perspective on integrating these methods into therapeutic practice.
In the second part of the event, a short documentary will feature Helga Bost, who draws on 30 years of experience working with clients with spinal cord injuries, focusing on restoring movement below the point of paralysis. Finally, Marie-France Rouyer will share her 20+ years of experiences using the Feldenkrais Method in hospitals.
The event will conclude with a Q&A session with Filip & Tina.

General
Forest Lighthouse is a somatic education center, a discipline that regards the body as a tool for expression, a vehicle for experience, and a means of learning. The center specializes in organizing courses, workshops, and training programs with curricula designed to cultivate a deep understanding of the unity of body and mind.
We offer a wide range of somatic courses and training programs, tailored to various needs and interests. Our events aim to create a bridge between the arts and sciences, from dance to neuroscience.
Just as we seek to highlight well-established disciplines, we also strive to introduce pioneering approaches in the field of somatics.
The program is generally open to everyone. Except for events with prerequisites or required prior experience, the center offers activities aimed at anyone interested in learning.
