What is Polyphonic Choir ?

This project offers a choral space that integrates bodywork and conscious breathing from the Feldenkrais method into the learning of collective polyphonic singing. It is an invitation to explore the voice starting from the body, breath, and listening, while recognizing the expressive, sensitive, and collective potential of group singing.

Who is teaching ?

Betzabel Falfan

Betzabel Falfan

Betzabel Falfan, co-founder of the Forest Lighthouse Center, hails from Mexico. She leads weekly Awareness Through Movement classes and offers individual Functional Integration sessions. Trained as an actress and dancer, she dedicated her academic research to the study of classical Indian dance, specializing particularly in the Indian classical dance form 'Sattriya' from 2010 to 2013. Her diverse and extensive training includes drama studies at Cours Florent and the Municipal Conservatory Gustave Charpentier in Paris. She furthered her research and practice in Bharatanatyam and Sattriya dance in India, supported by grants from 'Paris jeunes talents' and ICCR. Certified in the Feldenkrais...

Maria de Larrañaga

María de Larrañaga is a visual artist and musician, and a choral conductor committed to creating singing spaces open to all. She conceives and directs ensembles of different ages, languages and levels, with an approach that blends vocal technique, breath, movement and the pleasure of singing together. Her work aims to bring people together, encourage individual expression and nurture collective creativity.
