What is Brighter Minds ?
Give your children a unique experience with the Alpha Brighter Minds program, led by Betzabel Falfan, co-founder of Forest Lighthouse and certified facilitator. Designed especially for children aged 6 to 12, this program aims to develop their cognitive, emotional and social skills in a fun, caring environment. Under Betzabel’s guidance, children will discover learning methods combining physical and mental activities, playing with concentration techniques, creativity, movement exercises and age-appropriate meditation practices. This approach encourages children to tap into their inner resources and develop their ability to connect with the outside world, giving them the tools to develop to their full potential.

Brighter Minds is an educational program designed to improve the cognitive and sensory abilities of children and teenagers. It uses innovative techniques to stimulate the brain, such as music, concentration exercises, meditation techniques, and physical activities that promote coordination, relationships with oneself, others and self-confidence. The aim is to develop skills such as attention, perception and memory, while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
The Brighter Minds program is designed for children aged 6 to 12. The program is specially designed for children, as it is during childhood that the brain is most plastic and receptive to learning, enabling a more significant and rapid improvement in cognitive abilities. Childhood is a crucial period for brain development, when experiences and learning can have a profound and lasting impact on brain structure and function. The program aims to exploit this window of opportunity to enrich children's cognitive and sensory potential, thereby promoting their overall development.
Brighter Minds is designed to significantly enhance children's cognitive and sensory abilities, leading to improved concentration, memory, creativity and self-confidence. By harnessing the brain's neuroplasticity, it also promotes better emotional management, strengthens problem-solving skills and accelerates learning, improving efficiency in processing and perceiving information. These skills are crucial in helping children to adapt and excel in their academic and social environments.
- Dance, yoga, specific movements and sensorimotor activities.
- Cerebral and ocular gymnastics: dissociation and synchronization of the left and right hemispheres of the brain and stimulation of neural circuits.
- Memory, creativity and observation games.
- Stimulation of cooperation and relational intelligence.
- Breathing and relaxation activities.
- Self-awareness tools to foster emotional intelligence.
- Listening to binaural music: brainwave oscillation sounds.
- Sensory enhancement activities.
- Challenges and novelties for an inspiring life.
Brighter Minds' Alpha program is structured over 7 weeks, offering a balanced sequence of mental, physical and social activities to strengthen children's innate learning abilities.
The program structure includes the following elements:
- Two introductory weekend sessions on Oct 7 & 8 of 4.5 hours each
- Seven follow-up sessions of 3 hours each, organized once a week on Wednesdays from Sept 11 to Oct 23.
In total, the program represents 30 hours of commitment spread over the 8 weeks.
The Brighter Minds Alpha program does not require any specific prerequisites for children aged 6 to 12. However, we encourage parents to contact the organization if they have any particular situations that may require special attention or adaptations. This ensures that the program can best meet the individual needs of each child.
